I got an idea from this site to make some cupcake specimen art. Something like this:
But mine ended up being smaller and just as cute but I am pictureless in showing you what I did. I will have a picture of it once I figure out what else I want to put up on my wall at home. I brought it to work and one lady is like ohhh that would be so cute to make a sell at the Madison Art Walk or something like that. Turns out the original idea sprang from a picture with butterflies. We both thought it look too cute to not do. While at Michael’s we gathered a butterfly punch, lady bug and a bumblebee as well as a ton of scrapbook paper. We picked out the frames and a mats to go in the frames, at Olde Tyme Pottery, they are very affordable over there. Our original idea occurred when we found a nice big black frame and a double mat that included black and white. And we would do yellow paper for the back and black and white bumblebees. Then as we talked about it more, morphed into including all of the insect punches..Til last night while I was doing it decided to go back to our original idea.
So I present you with my master piece from last night.
Ivan pointing out the bumblebees.
I think it looks super cute, and we are going to try and sell them to help out with the Madison Animal Rescue Foundation. All proceeds of each sale will be donated to M.A.R.F.
So how much would you pay for this? Is it sellable? I think it turned out super cute and super sophisticate.
If you have any thoughts or input, please let us know…we appreciate ideas!
